In accordance with their new hours (see below) Cumston Library is closed today, Monday, August 31st.
It will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 1st at 10am.

🌟 Monmouth Recreation Summer Recap! 🌟

As our first summer season comes to a close, we're proud of all we accomplished together as we introduced new programs, completed facility upgrades, and created more opportunities for our community to connect and have fun.

Thank you to our summer leaders, volunteers, participants, and community supporters for making it all possible. We're excited to continue growing with new programs and services in the year ahead!

Please Welcome Our New Library Director

The Town of Monmouth is pleased to welcome Rachel Statham as the new Director of the Cumston Public Library.

Rachel brings a strong and diverse background in library services, including experience as a branch manager and as both an adult and youth services librarian. Throughout her library career, she has worked to develop engaging programs, strengthen community partnerships, manage library collections, and help patrons of all ages access the information and resources they need.

She holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Services from Simmons College and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her background also includes experience in technology, communications, project management, grant writing, and community outreach.

We are very pleased to have Rachel join the Town of Monmouth team.
Please join us in welcoming Rachel to Monmouth! We encourage you to stop by the library, introduce yourself, and say hello!
