Beat the brutal heat at the library on Tuesday, August 18. Scrapbooking begins at 3 pm. This is a come-and-go time; bring your supplies and a snack. A beginning scrapbooking class begins at 6:00 pm. This class is free, but please let the library know if you are coming so there are enough supplies. The book club also meets at 6 pm on Tuesday. Come join us for a lively discussion of what we have read this month.

Exciting day! It's Miniature Golf in the library! Golf begins at 1:00 pm, with the last game starting at 6:30 pm. $5.00 per family, and there is a cash concession stand available. It's nice and cool in the library, so a great way to beat the heat this afternoon.

We have had lots of interest in the Moody Yearbooks. We are missing a few years. If you are looking to clear some off your shelf at home, please consider donating them to the library.

Needing 1969, 1970, 1973 to 1989, 1991, 2005 to present. Also, if you have any from before 1950, those could be used as well.

Tuesday, July 14, is Scrapbooking. From 3 to 7, it is come-and-go. Bring your supplies and a snack, and join the fun. The beginner class starts at 6. If you will be attending that class, please let us know so there are enough supplies.

The Community Spirit Bells will be at the library on Wednesday, July 15, at 10 am. They will play a couple of songs, then invite the children to assist with the chimes.

The Library Board wants to thank the 1st Assembly of God's Dorcas Class for the quilt donation. These ladies meet every Thursday morning in the library and make beautiful quilts for the community and themselves. They worked extremely hard to sell hundreds of tickets. The fundraiser was successful, and we couldn't have done it without them.
