Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

Fall is the perfect time to clear out the clutter and give your home and your community a fresh start. Whether you're cleaning out the garage, refreshing your landscaping, or getting rid of old electronics, Moreno Valley offers several free programs to make cleanup easy.

Residents can take advantage of our Free Dump Day event on Oct 10, held on Saturday, October 10, from 6:00 a.m. to noon at the Badlands Landfill, 31125 Ironwood Avenue, Moreno Valley.

Need to get rid of old paint, batteries, chemicals, or other hazardous materials? Our Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Waste Collection Event takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Riverside County Department of Waste Resources, 14310 Frederick Street.

Looking to spruce up your yard? Moreno Valley residents can also pick up free mulch Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the City Corporate Yard, 15670 Perris Blvd. Just bring your own containers and shovels.

And if you'd like to help beautify Moreno Valley beyond your own property, consider joining our Community Day of Service on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Volunteers gather at City Hall before heading out to cleanup projects throughout the city. It's a great opportunity to meet neighbors, give back, and make a visible impact in just a few hours.

These programs make it easy to reduce waste, recycle responsibly, and help keep Moreno Valley looking its best. Together, we can create cleaner neighborhoods, greener spaces, and a community we're all proud to call home.
