Setting the Record Straight: Fire Service Organizations Express Concern Over Lack of Support for Nominal Compensation Initiative.

The Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York, New York State Association of Fire Chiefs, County Fire Coordinators’ Association of the State of New York, and Nassau-Suffolk Long Island Fire Districts Legislative Committee are renewing the call for collaboration to address volunteer firefighter recruitment and retention challenges.

Congrats to our counties BFO and IFO FF1 Graduates! These new firefighters are extremely important to all our fire departments in Clinton County.

We had two of our own in this class, Bob Banker and Adriana Rivera, who have devoted countless hours towards their goal of being interior fire fighters. We are thankful to have both of you on our crew!

We hope all these fire fighters stay safe and continue their education in the fire service!

Thank you for the honor of hosting your graduation this year and thank you to the state instructors who made this class successful!
