Here's a fun fact: Potatoes can produce fruit! After a potato plant flowers, some varieties can develop small, green, berry-like fruits that contain botanical seeds.

These fruits are not edible, but they are another way that potato plants can reproduce in the wild. However, potato plants grown by seed are not as predictable and usually don't yield as much as potato plants grown from their own tubers.
