The purpose of the hearing is to obtain input from residents in reference to the Five-Year Action Plan & 2026 Annual Plan to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for fiscal year 2026-2030. All residents are encouraged to attend this hearing. A copy of the Five-Year Action Plan & Annual Plan will be available for review from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, on operating business days, prior to the public hearing at the address below. Persons can also submit written comments prior to public hearing to:

Moundsville Housing Authority has a position open for a Maintenance Laborer.
This position requires the following:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment used in maintenance work.
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment used in routine building maintenance.
• Perform custodial work such as sweeping, mopping, stripping floor wax, waxing floors, washing windows, walls, mirrors, and fixtures; vacuuming, dusting and sanitizing restrooms.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing. This includes but not limited to removing trash, priming and painting ceilings and walls, scrubbing floors, cleaning appliances and floors.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to work with others.
• Willingness to carry after hours pager for emergency calls.
• Shares rotating on call duty with other members of maintenance staff.

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of GED.
• Ability to pass drug test, criminal background check prior to hire.
• Must have a valid WV Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Must be willing to operate Agency’s power equipment such as lawn mowers, lawn tractors, snow blowers, power tools, etc.
• Willingness to travel and attend trainings.
• Must be able to provide emergency coverage after hours on a routine basis with other maintenance staff.
