Scam Alert:

We have had a few phone calls to our office regarding possible scam calls. These callers are stating the person has a warrant because they did not show up to Federal Jury Duty. They ask for a payment thru cashapp or Apple Pay, which no agency will ask for a warrant to be paid thru this method. Please be aware this is a scam and do not send any money to anyone asking to pay thru these methods of payments. Please always verify with your local agencies before sending any money to anyone!

Important Announcement: Now that the Burn Ban has been lifted, please notify the Muleshoe Police Department at 806-272-4569 prior to conducting any controlled burns, including those in the county, to ensure timely notification to First Responders of any smoke sightings.
