There are many ways to support children in need in Delaware County. If you want help finding an organization that supports and provides items needed by children in foster care, please reach out.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers provide a critical lifeline for children navigating the child welfare system. They are specially trained to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. Their impact provides stability, ensures that the child's voice is heard, and drastically improves long-term outcomes.

We were happy to swear in several more volunteers at our last training, and have 5 people already signed up to join the next class. While this is fantastic!....... we need another 30 or 40 volunteers to advocate for the children currently waiting for an advocate.

Our Volunteer training is starting up soon. Check out our website for more information. Training is done one night a week for 5 weeks and the rest can all be done online at your own pace. Its a small commitment to a great big cause!

Thank you so much to Denise King from Heart of Indiana, United Way. She graciously gifted us with some birthday bags for children served by our CASA advocates.

Many organizations give to foster children at Christmas, but birthdays can sometimes go un-noticed. These gift bags contain everything needed for a birthday cake, a pan, cake mix and frosting, as well as candles and some small gift items.

If you feel driven to contribute, please contact our office and we would be happy to receive more kits.

Happy Birthday to Volunteer Scott Hall. Scott has been a CASA for almost seven years. He also served on the CASA board for several years and has been a great support to our program.
