We are taking it back to the 90s at MES this summer with our Summer Reading Incentive with Pizza Hut BOOK IT!
The program has evolved and they now have an app. Click the link below to download and start earning those pizzas! We are also adding an additional 50 points for every pizza you earn. You could potentially start the school year off with 150 points. All you have to do is swing by the school Monday-Thursday 8:00am- 1:00pm to share your progress. You may also send a screenshot of your progress through Rooms anytime. Let us know if you have any questions.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Murfreesboro Elementary has been awarded a $9,000 All Kids Bike Grant through the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism!

Our goal is to get our kids outside more, soaking up the fresh air, enjoying the physical and mental benefits of bike riding, and—for many of our youngest learners—mastering the lifelong skill of learning how to ride a bike! 🌟

A huge shout-out to Ms. Cornish for her hard work and dedication in bringing new and exciting opportunities to the elementary campus this year! We can't wait to see our students pedaling, learning, and exploring the outdoors together. Thank you so much to the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism for investing in our school and the health and happiness of our kids!

iPads for sale!

With the last day of school behind us: the South Pike County School District is now officially putting the school issued iPads up for sale.

SPCSD purchases new iPads for the students every 2 years so the iPads were purchased in the summer of 2024 and will be 10.9 inch Gen 10 silver colored models. They will come with a charging cable, charging block, and a protective blue keyboard case.

The iPads this year will cost $220 {Note: As the iPads were actively used by students and staff the conditions of the cases and chargers may not be pristine and will be sold as is. However we will make all efforts to get you the cleanliest and well working cases we can as they are sold.}

The iPads will be sold starting immediately until June 11th. Monday-Thursday (8:30am-3:30pm) you may come by the school’s tech building to purchase one.

MES students participated in ATLAS Testing Bingo this week at the elementary for a chance to win some big prizes. Students earned BINGO cards for working hard on their ATLAS Test, keeping their scores high, and raising their scores.
