🚒 Happy 16th Birthday, Branson!
When Branson turned 16, he had a pretty special birthday wish — to visit fire departments all across the state of Alabama! We’re honored that he chose Muscle Shoals Fire Department as one of his stops.

On Saturday, our A-Shift had the opportunity to show Branson around the station, talk fire service, and give him a look at what we do. The crew did a great job making him feel right at home and helping make his visit one to remember!

We’re glad we could be a small part of Branson’s special birthday and his passion for the fire service. We hope you had a fantastic 16th birthday, Branson, and we wish you the very best as you continue your journey!

Today at approximately 2:00 p.m., Muscle Shoals Fire Department B shift responded to a reported structure fire in station 1’s district.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire and smoke coming from the structure. Engine 1’s crew quickly initiated an aggressive fire attack while additional units assisted with extinguishing the fire, conducting a primary search, and establishing a water supply.

Thankfully, all occupants made it out safely and no injuries were reported.

Fighting fires during the summer heat is especially challenging, and our firefighters performed exceptionally well under demanding conditions.

A big thank you to all of the personnel from the Muscle Shoals Fire Department who volunteered their time to help with the inflatables at Friday night's Movie Night at City Hall. Your willingness to serve our community, both on and off duty, helped make the evening a fun and memorable experience for so many families.

We'd also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Parks & Recreation Department for inviting us to be a part of such a wonderful event and for all the hard work that went into making the night a success. Thank you for providing our community with opportunities like this to come together and enjoy a great evening.

We appreciate everyone who came out, and we look forward to seeing you at the next community event!

Day in and day out, the men of Muscle Shoals Fire go above and beyond to become better firefighters. Lately, they've been putting in extra time on pump training, sharpening the skills that matter most when lives and property are on the line.

Even with the extreme heat we've been dealing with, the training never stops. That dedication, work ethic, and commitment to excellence are what set these men apart.

We truly have the best group of firefighters around, and it shows in the effort they put in every single day.

We're proud that Long-Lewis Muscle Shoals was able to donate bottled water to the dedicated men and women of the Muscle Shoals Fire Department as they continue serving and protecting our community.

Hydration Tip: Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink water. During hot weather, aim to drink water consistently throughout the day and increase your intake when spending time outdoors.
