Good news for families and educators in our area! I’m happy to announce that schools across the 147th Legislative District will soon receive a combined $1.5 million to boost school safety and strengthen behavioral health resources for students and staff.

🏫 Here’s how the grant money will be distributed in our region:
• Boyertown Area School District – $367,013.
• Montgomery County IU 23 – $70,000.
• North Montco Tech Career Center – $70,000.
• Perkiomen Valley School District – $300,467.
• Pottsgrove School District – $228,589.
• Souderton Area School District – $364,831.
• Souderton CS Collaborative – $70,000.
• Western Montgomery CTC – $70,000.

The funding comes through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency’s School Safety and Security Committee. Improvements in security and behavioral health benefit the entire community. These investments will help ensure our schools remain welcoming, secure places where students can thrive, and staff can continue doing what they do best, which is supporting our community’s youth.
