Last year in New Orleans, LA, From Prison Cells to PhD brought together P2P Scholars, P2P Mentors, and co-authors of Breaking Chains, Building Futures for a retreat/strategic planning meeting. This year, the retreat and strategic planning meeting will be in Cleveland, OH.

From Prison Cells to PhD (P2P) is a non-profit organization with the mission to transform the lives of individuals with justice-involved or disadvantaged backgrounds by providing mentorship, education, and advocacy. It empowers individuals to pursue higher education, shifting their path from incarceration to professional careers, primarily through mentorship, academic counseling, and policy change.
