Today, we celebrate a win: in a matter of a few hours, we got our client off a deportation flight. ✈️

The system continues to wrongfully deport people and separate families - that's exactly why we keep fighting - for justice, accountability, and dignity.

We're deeply grateful to the community partners, advocates, and supporters who helped make this possible. This is what collective action looks like.

🚨Louisiana is moving closer to opening a 528-bed ICE detention facility in Alexandria that could be used to detain immigrant families and children awaiting deportation.

While ICE has described the site as a temporary "staging area," similar facilities have historically held people for weeks or even months.

Advocates and community organizations are raising concerns about the impact of expanded family detention and are joining the effort to oppose detention expansion. Here are ways you can support:
