Her ability to quickly problem-solve, build trusting relationships, and deeply engage with clients allows her to effectively support them in overcoming barriers and achieving their goals. She goes above and beyond to ensure her clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their journey. Charlotte is also an exceptional collaborator who truly listens to participants and advocates assertively for their needs while respecting their voice and choices. She approaches her work with cultural responsiveness and genuine care, creating space for participants and their families to feel heard and respected—even during difficult conversations or when complex decisions need to be made. Her ability to collaborate across teams while keeping the participant at the center of the process makes her an invaluable partner.

Keishone Sylvester has been a HOUSING TEAM LEAD with CrescentCare for several years. She has been an amazing partner and one of the most responsive case management staff that the Coordinated Entry System has ever had the pleasure of collaborating with. Keishone often acts as a liaison between the outreach workers and the housing staff to ensure that no one falls through the cracks and unfortunately, sometimes people do slip through the cracks, but Keishone is always ready to aid in reconnecting those individuals to their CrescentCare case management team. I am not sure how she manages, but she seems to have the most up to date information at her finger tips and if she doesn’t know what’s going on with a case, she is going to make the connections to resolve those issues. Keishone has a wonderful attitude, is always a team player and extremely cooperative when presented with challenging situations which I guess is why it’s so fitting that she is being nominated for the housing case manager of the month.

Cristy Arceneaux is a Coordinated Entry Housing Navigator /Case Manager with Travelers Aid Society. She is one of the most dedicated, collaborative and selfless navigators working in homeless services. Cristy sacrifices countless hours of her personal time to ensure extremely vulnerable individuals are prioritized for housing. Cristy remains very active and engaged throughout every stage of the navigation process because she knows that this is essential for clients to become successful in obtaining and being connected to housing. Even though Cristy navigates a high volume of active cases, the quality of Cristy’s work is never compromised.

Upon receiving a housing referral, Shantell immediately contacts the client to initiate the intake process. She uses her experience to effectively advocate for her clients and assist them in navigating various housing options. Shantell demonstrates a professional demeanor and an unwavering commitment to secure housing for the most vulnerable families in our community.
