When starting therapy it's normal to feel nervous and awkward. We're trained to build rapport. When starting therapy make sure you and the therapist click. A intake session is free and about 15 minutes so that way you can find out if that's a therapist you would like to work with.

One of the biggest pitfalls I see from modern technology is the lack of communication. Modern technology seems to encourage portals, emails, texting and online dating. Everything starts as words and your interpretation of those words. Learn how to communicate and do so effectively. Therapy can teach you and give you those skills.
