Join The Campaign Against Hunger for a day of soil, sand, and sips!

We will kick things off volunteering on farm projects and harvesting fresh produce for neighbors facing food insecurity. Afterward, we will head to the beach to unwind, with farm-fresh meals available for purchase in collaboration with Beach Dunes Eats & Arts Cafe and drinks sponsored by SUNBOY 〰 Spiked Coconut Water

𖡡 The farm is located at the corner of Beach 43rd Street & Edgemere Avenue. Parking is available on site.

☞ Bring gloves if you have them and wear closed-toe shoes.

Today, our partners at the New York City Council Finance Division visited TCAH’s East New York Community Food Hub for a firsthand look at the work happening every day to advance food security for New Yorkers.

The visit gave us an opportunity to share not only the scale of the need we are seeing across our communities, but also the permanent infrastructure TCAH is building to meet that need today and for years to come.

Thank you to the NYC Council Finance team for spending time with us, listening to both our operational needs and our vision for the future, and for your continued partnership in this work.

Shout out to our partner Food for Health, powered by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, for supporting this critical work.

TCAH's is bringing fresh produce right to the EmblemHealth East New York hub. Through this partnership with Emblem, we're helping seniors and patients facing food insecurity get access to the nutritious food they deserve.
