Justin Dalley, MSRED ’26

Prior to Columbia, Justin worked at Rialto Capital in the firm’s Miami headquarters, where he focused on commercial real estate investments, acquisitions, and asset management across a wide range of institutional transactions and investments. During his time at the firm, he underwrote over 100 transactions totaling more than $1 billion across all major commercial real estate sectors. Through Rialto’s rotational program, he gained experience across investment management, loan workouts, and direct lending. Earlier in his career, Justin worked at Property Markets Group, where he assisted in the underwriting and acquisition of large-scale mixed-use development projects.

At Columbia, Justin has served as a Teaching Assistant for three courses centered on development, dealmaking, and financial analysis, as well as Vice President of the Hotel and Hospitality Development Club. He was also selected as a participant in the Jonathan Rose Companies Affordable Housing Investments Fellowship Program. His academic and professional interests include large-scale urban development, value-add investments, and complex real estate transactions, with a particular interest in development, acquisitions, and investment opportunities. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University, where he double majored in Finance and Management with minors in Real Estate Development and Political Science. Outside of real estate, he enjoys architecture, travel, photography, reading, sports, and exploring new restaurants.

Filippos holds a bachelor’s degree from EHL
Hospitality Business School where he developed a strong foundation in hospitality related operations and real estate finance.

Coming from a Greek family of entrepreneurs invested in hotels, real estate and the entertainment business, he partnered with 2 alumni from his bachelor’s program to create “The Greek Project”, a fast casual restaurant chain in Switzerland. The brand’s mission is to create the leading destination for Greek culinary and coffee culture. Currently with 4 operating restaurants, Filippos is the driving force behind accelerating the brand’s development, taking bold strategic risks, and spearheading expansion into new locations.

At Columbia, he aims to deepen his real estate knowledge and expand his network both professionally and in his personal life. Upon successful completion of the MSRED program in 26’, his goal is to expand The Greek Project brand in the United States.

‘Eiwa Colburn, Dual M.Arch & M.S.RED ‘26

Originally from Hawai‘i, ‘Eiwa holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design with a concentration in Architecture from the University of Hawai‘i. Prior to enrolling in Columbia University’s Master of Science in Real Estate Development program, he served for 3.5 years as a Designer and Research Associate at the University of Hawai‘i School of Architecture. In this role, he cultivated expertise in architectural design, community-engaged projects, and culturally responsive design practices. Sidd is an entrepreneur and real estate professional. After earning his undergraduate degree from Babson College, he began his career in investment banking, went on to build a startup that was acquired by an international strategic competitor, and later worked in real estate private equity. Now at Columbia, he is in the process of launching his own real estate fund, with a strong interest in the intersection of AI and real estate.

Mia Li (Jing Li), MSRED ’26

Mia is the Founding Principal of The Max Group, a real estate investment, asset management, and development platform focused on Los Angeles and New York.

Prior to Columbia, she earned her MBA on the West Coast and served as Director of Investor Relations at a real estate investment firm, where she managed relationships with over 300 institutional and high-net-worth investors. She led capital raising, acquisitions, and dispositions across multifamily and value-add development projects, and over the past 12 years helped scale a Los Angeles property management portfolio to over 500 units.

Her experience spans development, investment underwriting, and cross-market acquisitions, with a focus on multifamily, short-term rental strategies, and urban repositioning opportunities.

At Columbia, she is focused on real estate finance, development structuring, and capital markets, with a particular interest in value-add multifamily, mixed-use development, and hospitality-driven real estate.

In the long term, Mia aims to build an institutional-grade real estate platform integrating investment, development, and asset management across global gateway markets, with a focus on lifestyle-driven assets.

In addition to her professional work, Mia is also a trained opera singer and actively participates in performances at Columbia University.
