In my first term in office, I've built a record based on strong legislation, real investments, and tangible impact for the 3rd District.

I’m proud to say that I’ve successfully secured over $1 million in state-funded investments for various community projects in parks across our city including Connell Street Park, Jennie M. Weaver Park, Woodlawn Park, and Rodney St. Reservoir.

My work in the legislature has remained focused on our community’s needs by addressing motorized scooters, funeral establishment permits, folic acid fortification, and more diverse languages available on state government websites, among others, with several of these measures having already been signed into law.

Through all this, I have never strayed from what matters most: our community. For residents across our city, this is the real, measurable impact that we’ve been waiting for, and I’m proud to have delivered for my city.

On August 26th, 1920, the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote, officially became a part of the United States Constitution.

On Women’s Equality, we acknowledge all the work it took for women to achieve the freedom and rights they have today, and we look forward to the work needed to ensure gender equality.

Aging is something we all must do, which is why we must continue to consider our aging populations in everything we do.
