A signing today didn't quite go as planned. Unfortunately, my signer wasn't feeling well, so her family & I agreed to reschedule, hopefully for tomorrow!

One of the things I love about owning my own business is having the flexibility to accommodate situations like this. Being mobile & offering weekend appointments allows me to meet clients where they are, when they need me.

Before heading out, I had the opportunity to leave my business cards w the front desk, where they were warmly welcomed! ✨️

Amanda Renee tagged along today to serve as witness for my client selling her property in ol Florida. They were cute together. Just two Appalachian girlies bonding over politics & house plants... even sent her home w some 🥹

Had someone text me saying they found my card (eeeek!! I've been leaving them everywhereeee) & needed my services. Just went & notarized 6 documents for their family's Italian dual citizenship application 🥳 3 generations doing something so magical together. As I sat at their kitchen table verifying passports & IDs, administering oaths, they were telling me stories about Italy. I shared that my birth mom is Sicilian.. this made the grandmother v happy lol. She goes "I should've had a pot of spaghet on the stove for you!" 🥹

I got to try a new service AND secured my invite to Italy when they are settled lol ✨️

Add Colorado to the list of properties I’ve helped close on 🥰! Started off at a closing right up the road on Cedar Run.. then Polaris for some docs.. then a client out in Fresno that had me in a Burger King w a back to school....Christmas tree? Idk but hell yeah brother ✨️ Happy Thursdee & 1st day of Halloween month!! 🎃

Had a client in Lowell today.. 1st time there. Just made it home a little bit ago. I WAS SQUINTING FOR MY LIFE Y'ALL 😭 I'm gonna have to get me a driver soon if I'm gonna be out after them street lights cut on. Also, the nicknames that everyone has for me are out of control. But I love getting in the car & seeing this lol. Now to prep & get to bed. Idk why I said yes, but my 1st client of the day is at 0630 🫠🥲 (jk I know why I did... that cash money is too good✨️)

The difference between signing services and direct clients

Signing services were great for experience. They helped me learn documents, processes, and professionalism.

Direct clients are what gave me stability. Better pay. More respect for my time. More repeat work.

Both have a place. Signing services can help you learn. Direct clients can help you scale.

Now I use direct clients $$ for the big bills and SS $ for the fun money-shopping, vacations, toys etc
