🌟 Introducing Our First Rockstars of the Week! 🌟
At Discovery STEM Academy, our Rockstars of the Week are staff members who have been nominated by their fellow colleagues for going above and beyond and being truly exceptional!

🎸⭐Congratulations to our first two Rockstars of the Week: Ms. Braxton and Ms. Hackney! ⭐🎸
🌟 Ms. Braxton was the picture of calm, cool, collected, and together during the crazy bus dismissal on the first day of school! We are so grateful for all of her hard work and dedication to organizing and overseeing transportation during the first week of school. She helped make a hectic time run as smoothly as possible!
🌟 Ms. Hackney has gone above and beyond to support Ms. Braxton and help get the Tinker Lab ready for the start of school! Her sweat equity is priceless, and her kind heart is unmatched. We truly appreciate EVERYTHING she did to help and support our school before the school year even began!

👏 Please join us in celebrating these two incredible staff members! Thank you, Ms. Braxton and Ms. Hackney, for all you do for Discovery STEM Academy and our students! 💙💛

A HUGE thank you to the Hampton University Football and Men’s Lacrosse teams for helping us kick off the new school year with an unforgettable welcome! 💙🤍

Our DSA Explorers were greeted with high-fives, cheers, smiles, and plenty of Hampton spirit as they arrived for their first day. What an incredible way to remind our students that their community is cheering them on as they begin another year of learning, growing, and achieving! 🎒📚✨

We are so grateful to these student-athletes and coaches for taking the time to show up for our students and make their first day extra special. This is what community partnership looks like!
