What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

This is a PRN (as-needed) position - perfect for retirees, nurses, caregivers, or anyone wanting part-time, flexible hours without a fixed schedule.

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Schedule and coordinate appointments
• Drive individuals to and from visits in the Newport News and surrounding area
• Attend appointments, take notes, and ask questions
• Advocate and support individuals during care
• Document outcomes and share updates with the team
• Follow up with providers and track medication changes

🕓 Shifts Available (Part-Time, Full-Time, PRN):
• 6:00 AM – 9:30 AM (Monday–Friday)
• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (2–3 weekdays per week)
• Weekend shifts (required – must work at least 1 shift per week):
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

💼 Job Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep)
• Support community involvement and social activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment

✅ Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (past 3 years) and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be a team player, exhibit integrity, possess a strong work ethic, and be highly dependable
