September is officially Library Card Sign-Up Month in North Palm Beach!

During last night’s Village Council meeting, the Village Council proclaimed September as Library Card Sign-Up Month, celebrating the many ways libraries connect our community to information, resources, learning, and each other.

This year’s theme, “A Library Card Hits All the Right Notes,” is a reminder that there’s something for everyone at the North Palm Beach Library. 📚🎵

Don’t have a library card yet? Stop by the library this month and sign up to discover everything your card can unlock, and pick up some branded Library swag while supplies last!

📚💕 Go on a Blind Date with a Book!

Forget judging a book by its cover. This time, you won’t even get to see it! 👀

Stop by the Library’s 2nd floor and choose a wrapped book based on the mystery inside. You won’t know what you picked until you unwrap it!

📖 $5 per book, no matter the size or construction.

Take a chance, try something new, and you just might meet your next favorite read!

🫖🦖 It was a roaring good time at the T-Rex Tea Party!

This past Saturday, the Library celebrated all the amazing kids who completed the Summer Reading Program with a T-Rex Tea Party finale! Kids dressed in their best tea party attire and enjoyed an assortment of treats (including dino chicken nuggets, of course!), a T-riffic storytime, dino bingo, and a dance party with a very special guest … a T-Rex!

A big thank you to all the kids who completed the Summer Reading Program and helped make reading part of their summer fun!

And a special thank you to Keys Chocolates and Ice Cream for bringing some extra sweetness to the celebration with their custom chocolate dinosaur pops. We can’t wait to see everyone next summer for more reading, fun, and adventure!

The North Palm Beach Library is serving up FREE lunches and snacks for kids and teens all summer long through Summer BreakSpot! Lunch is available Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm, and snacks are available from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Meals will be served June 2 through June 17 and June 22 through June 30 in Bob's Garage.

Free for all kids and teens 18 and under. No registration required.
