A history lesson on the historic Kelleys Island jail. Opened around July 31st 1886. Built for $1326.00. August 1889 it got its first incandescent light.
Now my research team and I have been asked to disassemble the jail cell and move it to the Kelleys Island History Museum for public display and photo opportunities. We've been tasked with making this move without damages or scratches to the 1800s-era cells.

The Columbia Station mansion was finally demolished. All we have now are the fond memories and a few photographs. Definitely a loss to the community. Special thanks to Brenda Stevens for the demolition footage.

One of our metal detecting permissions we have on Kelleys Island. Today the residents get to add this 1905 V nickel to their shadow box of items found on their property during renovations.
Property owner keeps all finds, 100% FREE, we just want to document the finds. Locations can be kept private. Kelleys Island History Museum
Note we are currently working with the Kelleys Island Police, Historical Society and Museum.
