A non-emergency incident report can be filed online through the our Police to Citizen portal. This can be used for instances that involve theft, lost property or damaged property. Some examples include package delivery theft, graffiti on your property or items stolen from your garage or vehicle. This does not include situations where an injury occurred or a weapon was involved. As always, in an emergency, call 911. To file a non-emergency police report online, go to www.oak-park.us/policereport.

With additional severe weather as a possibility this afternoon and evening, it's a good time to share what to do if you encounter a downed power line. Always assume power lines are live, since even momentary contact with a live power line can injure or kill. Residents who see a downed power line should call 911 right away and report the location. More information is available at www.oak-park.us/downedpowerlines.
