EMS Week 2026 Challenge Winners Announced! 🏆

Leading up to EMS Week, from March 1 through May 23, teams across the Priority Ambulance family of companies participated in our Social Media Engagement Challenge, sharing the stories, people, and moments that make EMS so special.

From crew spotlights and award presentations to community outreach events, wellness activities, interagency partnerships, and team celebrations, the challenge highlighted the dedication and impact of our teams across the organization.

Thanks to the incredible participation of our operations, we received a remarkable 324 submissions showcasing the compassion, teamwork, professionalism, and service that define EMS.

Ready to begin a meaningful career in emergency medicine?

Trans Am Ambulance, a member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, is now accepting applications for our upcoming EMT-B Academy in Olean, New York!

📍 Olean, NY
📅 Mandatory Orientation: June 8, 2026
📚 In-Person Instruction Begins: July 6, 2026
🎓 Program Length: 8 Weeks
💲 Earn $16/hour while training

Our instructor-led EMS Academy combines classroom education, labs, clinical experiences, and ride-along training designed to prepare you for success as an EMT-Basic.

Graduates who successfully complete the academy and obtain licensure will be offered a full-time EMT-B position with Trans Am Ambulance.

🕘 Schedule:
Monday – Thursday | 8 AM – 2 PM

Participants must complete 8 hours of ride-along or simulation time each week outside of scheduled class hours for a total of 40 hours throughout the course.

📝 Requirements Include:
• 18 years old or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, interview, and FISDAP exam

Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women in law enforcement who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

During National Police Week, we recognize the courage, dedication, and selflessness of peace officers across the country who work tirelessly to protect and serve. We are grateful for the partnerships we share with our law enforcement agencies and for the commitment they show every day.

To all officers, dispatchers, support staff, and the families who stand beside them: thank you for your service and sacrifice. We remember and honor those we have lost, and we continue to support those who serve today. 💙🖤
