If we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting, I’m Jamie Davis. 👋
I’m a successful third-generation row-crop farmer and businessman who operates a 3,200-acre agricultural enterprise in Tensas Parish. Our family proudly owns 700 acres of that land, working the exact same Louisiana soil my grandfather once worked as a sharecropper.
I’m a successful businessman, a longtime community leader, and a former local elected official who unseated a 42-year incumbent police juror and delivered real, tangible results for Tensas Parish.
When lead poisoned the water in our schools, I worked across the aisle with state and federal partners to secure $9 million to completely replace the system and protect our children. My work earned the trust of federal leaders, who selected me as one of only four working farmers in the entire country to serve on the National USDA Plant Variety Protection Board. I also serve on my local Head Start Board, the Farm Bureau, and the Northeast Louisiana Railroad Board.
I may not fit the mold for the comfortable political establishment, but I believe I fit the mold to fight for Louisiana’s working families. We need common-sense leaders who remember who they work for.
Let’s go to work! 🚜💨 jamieforlouisiana.com
