Christian Service Center for the Homeless

A new chapter. A bigger impact. And YOU helped us get here.

Made possible by the City of Orlando and a community committed to creating meaningful solutions, we are thrilled to debut our new spaces designed to serve neighbors with greater dignity, compassion and opportunity.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our funding partners City of Orlando - Government, Universal Orlando Resort, The Elinor & T.W. Miller Foundation, Big Nova Foundation and HomeAid for their commitment to serving the Central Florida community.

Last Thursday's ribbon cutting ceremony marked more than the opening of new buildings, it was a celebration of the lives that will be changed within them.

Special thanks to Hughes Fortelli Photography for donating their talents in capturing this special moment.

This morning, we gathered with community leaders, partners, supporters, and friends to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of our newly renovated Downtown Orlando campus!

This transformation was made possible through generous funding from the City of Orlando's Accelerate Orlando initiative, along with the incredible support of partners like the Big Nova Foundation and Universal Orlando Foundation. We are deeply grateful to the many volunteers, construction partners, and CSC staff who have poured their time, hard work, and dedication into bringing this vision to life.

While today was a celebration of how far we've come, the most important work is still ahead. These new facilities will bring new opportunities to welcome our unhoused neighbors with dignity, provide essential services, and help more individuals take steps toward stability and permanent housing. We can't wait to see the lives changed through these spaces in the years to come!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day, and this transformation, possible!

We're thrilled to share that we surpassed our matching goal!

Nearly 400 supporters, friends and partners joined us last Friday for our annual Heart of the Community Breakfast. It was a meaningful morning spent learning about the realities of homelessness in Orlando, hearing Jasmine's courageous testimonial and envisioning what is possible when our community joins together to end homelessness through compassionate, coordinated services.

We received $134,717 in gifts and pledges at the event, bringing our total with the match to $234,717...and counting!

Our heartfelt thanks to all those who shared their morning with us, and to our sponsors Light Orlando powered by Åcahand Foundation, Westgate Foundation, akerman and Hines Law.

A little work and a little play! 💙

Our team recently came together for an all-staff pep rally to get ready for some exciting things ahead at the Christian Service Center. We shared updates on our upcoming events and what’s happening across our organization before breaking into teams for a friendly scavenger hunt competition!

We’re grateful for opportunities to bring our staff together, have some fun, and get energized for what’s ahead.

This is what 407 Connect is all about. 💙

We are incredibly proud of Jashonda and Taylon and grateful to them for sharing their stories. Their journeys are a powerful reminder of what can happen when someone has a safe place to sleep, the right support, and a pathway forward.

Thank you to the City of Orlando and the CRA for their continued partnership in 407 Connect.
