The Town of Paris was excited to team up with the Town of West Paris and the Legion School Pre-K students for an unforgettable end-of-year celebration!

From Touch-a-Truck and bounce houses to face painting and running through the sprinklers, the day was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of fun. It was wonderful to see the kids enjoying themselves and celebrating a fantastic year together.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today such a success. What a great way to kick off summer—today was an absolute blast! ☀️🚒🎨🏰💦🎉

We are incredibly proud of the OHMS students who partnered with Town departments on their end-of-year group projects!

Sawyer Morse, Michael Hussey, and Jackson Bauder (JB) worked closely with the Parks & Recreation Department on a project focused on improving Moore Park. They even organized a group of five volunteers and spent a rainy Saturday morning cleaning up the park and playground.

Kolby Tracy and Parker Warren partnered with the Paris Police Department, working directly with Chief Ward on a project centered around distracted driving awareness.

The Town of Paris was honored to work with these students and witness their dedication to making our community a better place. Their hard work, initiative, and commitment to serving others are truly commendable.

Great job, guys! We can't wait to see what you accomplish next!

AV Cal Ripken Paris Reds Defeats 2026 MHAA Majors On Back Of Clutch Display From Jackson W

Jackson W drove in four runs on three hits to lead AV Cal Ripken Paris Reds past 2026 MHAA Majors 9-3 on Friday. Jackson doubled in the third scoring two, hit a solo home run to center field in the fourth scoring one, and doubled in the fifth scoring one.

AV Cal Ripken Paris Reds won thanks in part to five runs in the third inning. Jackson doubled, scoring two runs, Bentley S doubled, scoring two runs, and Jaxon C grounded out, scoring one run.

2026 MHAA Majors were the first to get on the board in the first when Beau B scored after tagging up.

A single by Sawyer C extended the 2026 MHAA Majors lead to 2-0 in the top of the second inning.

AV Cal Ripken Paris Reds added to their lead with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning thanks to home runs by Sullivan W and Jackson.

Ryder B earned the win for AV Cal Ripken Paris Reds. The hurler allowed three hits and three runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out nine and walking none. Tanner P took the loss for 2026 MHAA Majors. The starting pitcher went five innings, giving up nine runs (seven earned) on nine hits, striking out 12 and walking two. Jackson threw one inning of scoreless ball for AV Cal Ripken Paris Reds in relief. The hurler gave up zero hits, striking out two and walking none.

Kaiden H, Bentley, and Sullivan each collected multiple hits for AV Cal Ripken Paris Reds.

Ryker J, Sawyer, and Camden W each collected one hit for 2026 MHAA Majors. Liam B and Tanner were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for 2026 MHAA Majors.

Next up for AV Cal Ripken Paris Reds is a game against Oxford on Monday.
