Park City Community Foundation is proud to announce the completion of its first cohort, a seven-month leadership development program serving emerging leaders from our community.

Twelve participants crossed the finish line on May 4, each walking away with new skills, a stronger network, and a mentor to support their continued growth. This program reflects a core belief: when new leaders are given the tools and support to thrive, the whole community benefits.

What happens when you give 200 kids a compostable bag and a little friendly competition? Nearly 1,000 pounds of food waste diverted from the landfill in one week.

Park City Community Foundation teamed up with Park City Day School for a school-wide food waste challenge. Students from pre-K through 8th grade collected scraps at home and filled house bins in a school-wide competition.

The results showed what's possible when education, community, and healthy habits come together. Read the full story:

Park City Community Foundation works across several initiative areas to meet the greatest challenges in our community. One of those is Early Childhood Alliance.

brings together organizations, advocates, and donors to ensure every child in Park City and Summit County has access to affordable, quality care and resources from the very start. A few examples of what this initiative does:

- We helped create the Needs Based Child Care Scholarship Program with the City and County, and cover the administrative costs to ensure all public funding goes directly to families and childcare providers. In two years, the program has helped 186 kids and 32 providers.

- Early Childhood Alliance funds Dolly Parton's Imagination Library across Summit County, which delivers FREE monthly books to children under 5. We have delivered over 44,445 books to young kids in 6 years!

- We grant funds to local nonprofit childcare providers and advocate for family-friendly policies at the state-level.

We believe that investing in young children is one of the highest-return investments a community can make. Learn more about our work through Early Childhood Alliance. https://parkcitycf.org/initiatives/early-childhood-alliance/

The more voices at the table, the more powerful our giving becomes.

Women's Giving Fund honorary memberships ensure that every woman in our community has the opportunity to add her voice, her experience, and her perspective to this collective. Wonder Women, members who make a recurring contribution beyond their membership, fund these honorary memberships.

When you become a Wonder Woman, you're helping build a fund that reflects the full strength of this community.
