Maine East's National Art Honor Society (NAHS) has been working on The Memory Project once again this year.

The Memory Project is a nonprofit youth organization founded in 2004 that promotes intercultural understanding and kindness among children around the world through art. Over 320,000 young people in 57 countries have worked with their school-based programs.

This year, Maine East had eight NAHS members who created portraits for orphaned children in Honduras. Together, they’re making a difference one portrait at a time 🌎🎨

Join the Maine East .eastas for their fashion finale on Tuesday, May 5 at 6:30 p.m. The show will feature designs crafted by Maine East Student designers. Tickets are $5 and the show will be held outdoors on the Maine East Terrace.

Maine East High School’s Fine Arts program is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of Dial A for Agatha by David Toth. The performance will take place in the Maine East Actors Studio (room S129) on April 23 at 4 p.m. and April 24 and 25 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/MEBoxOffice and at the door for $10. Please note, seating is limited.

The play follows the unconventional Inspector Mandrake as he closes in on the perpetrator, putting every guest and servant under intense suspicion. Adding to the fun, the audience will have the unique opportunity to participate – attendees can cast their vote to guess the murderer before the night is over for a chance to win a prize.

The District 207 Board of Education honored three students in the area of extracurricular activities naming them “207’s Best” at a recent meeting. David Rozenbergas from Maine East was honored for his versatility, resilience and leadership.
