City announces two seats opening on the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment.

If you’ve ever felt called to public service, the Pea Ridge Planning Commission is looking for interested individuals in serving a 5-year term on the Planning Commission. The Commission reviews, recommends, and approves city plans, zoning and subdivision ordinances, commercial and residential development, and variances from regulations on the Board of Adjustment.

Appointments to the Commission are made by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Interested applicants should email a letter of interest and resume to [email protected] and/or [email protected] no later than October 31. Following review of the interested candidates, several may be selected for an interview before the Planning Commission.

A new connection has opened up behind the Neighborhood Market. The Ridge Trail connects Carr St. Park to Weston St. and continues on north side of the ball fields and continues through to the next subdivision. Go out there and check it out!

Turkey & Fixin's Food Drive! NOW-11/12, Hand Out 11/13 @ Noon

We continue to see many in the Pea Ridge struggle with food security, seeking help to provide for their loved ones. Let's come together to create 200 blessing baskets for Thanksgiving for those in need and uplift our neighbors!

Many in the Pea Ridge area have reached out, seeking help to provide for their loved ones. Let's come together to create 200 blessing baskets for those in need and uplift our neighbors! This what each box will have:

You can donate money or goods! Drop them off at city hall if possible.

2-green beans
1-cream of mushroom
1- French fried onions
2- Cans of Corn
1- box of stove top ONLY NEED 34 MORE!
1- Mac and cheese
1- jar of turkey gravy
1- 5lb potato’s
1- can of cranberry sauce
1- Dessert (Please wait until the 11th or 12th before dropping off to avoid food spoiling)

We will need help putting together and handing out the baskets the morning of the 13th.

BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: White Oak Ridge Cattle Company!🐄

Established in 2022, White Oak Ridge Cattle Co. provides premium, locally raised, farm-to-table beef right here in Pea Ridge. Owner-operated with deep farming roots, Seth Holder and his wife Dilynn moved their family to Pea Ridge in 2020 to give their children—Wyatt, Hank, and Annie—hands-on agricultural experience in a unified school district and tight-knit rural setting.

From early morning feedings at 5:40am to assisting customers during meat pickups, the entire family works together to care for the land and livestock while learning the fundamentals of hard work and business.

White Oak Ridge Cattle Co. is also dedicated to giving back to Pea Ridge. Seth, Dilynn, and their family actively sponsor local school sports, youth leagues, softball, and baseball, as well as donate beef for local food drives and charity auctions.

While their 2026 inventory is fully sold out, reservations for 2027 are officially open! If you have been curious about purchasing a half or whole side of beef, now is a great time to reach out and learn more.
