Peru Central School District is looking to fill School Bus Monitor positions for the upcoming school year!

🚌 School Bus Monitor — 2 Hours/Day OR 4 Hours/Day
📍 Location: Bus Garage
🕐 Hours: 2 hours/day — anticipated assignments are 8:00–9:00 AM and 3:00–4:00 PM
📅 Position: 10-month, hourly
💰 Pay: $17.95–$21.10/hour

Candidates should have:

Working knowledge of basic first aid methods
Ability to establish positive relationships with students
Patience and resourcefulness when working with students
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Physical ability to assist and potentially lift a student with a disability on and off the school bus
Ability to collaborate with the school nurse regarding food allergies and EpiPen use
A physical condition appropriate for the demands of the position
Requirements:

Must be at least 19 years old
Successful completion of a Physical Performance Test (PPT)
Completion of 4 hours of monitor pre-service training before riding the bus
Completion of a 10-hour training course in August during the first year of employment

School Psychologists will provide comprehensive services to support student educational performance and well-being, including:

• Individual and group services

• Participation on multidisciplinary and IEP teams

• RTI and pre-referral intervention support
• Direct student services and progress monitoring
• Development and implementation of educational recommendations and accommodations

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic coach to join our athletics program as a Modified Boys Soccer Coach!

Responsibilities may include:

Support a holistic, district-wide athletic program philosophy.
Recognize Modified and JV programs as developmental programs that support the Varsity program.
Work collaboratively with the Varsity coach and other program coaches.
Develop written practice plans focused on fundamentals, conditioning, teamwork, and game strategy.
Follow the District’s participation philosophy at all levels.
Promote sportsmanship, character, and the integrity of our athletic programs.
Participate in the District Leadership Academy throughout the school year, regardless of coaching season.
Attend required coaches’ meetings and complete all required training.
Perform other duties as outlined in the applicable contract.

Required Qualifications:

Meet all State Department of Education and Interscholastic Association requirements for coaching certification.
Complete the NFHS Coaching Unified Sports course.
Attend coaches’ meetings.
Participate in the District Leadership Academy.

💰 Compensation: Appendix B base of $5,175, paid in proportion to the position percentage - 0.35
