This week I joined elected officials and advocates from all over the city for 24 Hours on Transit!

Public transit is public health and Philadelphians deserve a system that is accessible, safe, and fully funded.

I want to thank Transit Forward Philly for bringing so many people together in support of SEPTA and to fight for a robust transit system that is long overdue. It was great to speak to Philadelphians with innovative ideas for our struggling transportation system and I am excited to keep these conversations going.

I proudly stand in solidarity with my colleagues and concerned residents making their voices heard.

Let’s keep the fight going!

On Monday, I joined the Fishtown Neighbors Association to hear residents’ concerns about the rerouting of SEPTA’s 25 bus line.

Public transit is essential to our communities. I’m listening, advocating, and making sure Fishtown residents are heard.

Today is National Intern Day and Team Nina wants to give a special shout out to all the interns who have served the residents of Philadelphia with us.

From high schoolers to college students, you are the backbone of our office, filling gaps and supporting us where we need you.

Thanks for keeping us old heads in the know, for making our social media look cool, and for bringing your positivity to our team.

Wherever you end up, we hope that your time with us has been valuable and we hope you stay in touch.

Once a member of Team Nina, always a member of Team Nina.

Thank you for all you do!

*And an extra special thank you to my social media intern, Summer Jenkins, for your vision and creativity!*

This past Saturday, I joined the Commission for Women for an important conversation on human trafficking awareness, prevention, and survivor support. Together, we can protect our most vulnerable and work toward ending trafficking in Philadelphia.
