We have some amazing prizes for our Summer Quest raffle winners.

For adults, we have three embroidered tote bags made by Miss Melissa, plus one pair of Skullcandy bluetooth headphones.

For teens, we have two pairs of Skullcandy bluetooth headphones.

As a special prize for our Mahjong players, we have a full size western Mahjong set in a travel bag. Please make sure you put "Mahjong" on your Summer Quest raffle tickets to be eligible.

Why do bearded dragons shed?

Bearded dragons shed their skin primarily to allow for growth and to replace damaged or worn skin. Because their outer layer is made of rigid keratin and does not stretch, they must peel it off as they get bigger or heal from scrapes.

(Mim has been shedding and most of her front foot just shed today!)

Trans by Trans Book Fair

Merlin had a wonderful time meeting new friends at the Trans by Trans Book Fair at Walnut Street West library this weekend. He helped Ms. Allegra pick out a book about dragons (Phoenix Extravagant by Yoon Ha Lee).

(Merlin really loved meeting the amazing people behind the ALA-celebrated Trans by Trans Book Club!)
