Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. As we mark the 25th anniversary of this tragic day, we reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that emerged in the face of unimaginable loss. We pay tribute to the 2,977 innocent victims, including the 343 firefighters and 71 members of law enforcement.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor their memory by embracing the values they demonstrated: service, sacrifice, compassion and unity. Their legacy lives on in the men and women who serve their communities every day.

Please join us in taking a moment today to remember those we lost, honor those who served, and keep their memories alive for future generations.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET! 🔥🚨❤️🤍💙

On Tuesday night, members of ATFD participated in water rescue training at the local pool. The training focused on building confidence and effectiveness in the water while wearing personal protective equipment and rescue gear.

Members practiced various swimming and movement techniques, learning different strokes and methods to travel efficiently through the water. The training also included hands-on water rescue techniques designed to help responders safely assist and remove victims from aquatic environments.

Continuous training like this helps ensure our members are prepared to respond when water-related emergencies occur in our community. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the evening a success. 💦🔥🚨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the 26th Annual Pre-Night Out! We had an incredible time meeting with residents, answering questions, giving tours of our fire trucks, and sharing important fire safety information.

Events like these are a great reminder of the strong connection between our fire department and the community we proudly serve. We truly enjoyed spending time with all of you, especially the children who were excited to explore the trucks and learn about fire safety.

Thank you for making this year's event such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
