Congratulations to Sergeant of Detectives Casey Byrne, Corporal Ryan Bunda, Corporal Meghan Wheatley, and Officer Joseph Santospago on successfully completing the EFCombatives Level 1 Instructor Course.

Led by a team of highly qualified instructors, this intensive program provided full-spectrum combatives training specifically designed for law enforcement, integrating wrestling, jiu-jitsu, striking, and weapon-based tactics. Through realistic, hands-on instruction, participants strengthened their defensive tactics skills, enhanced their leadership and instructor development, and gained practical techniques that can be immediately applied in the field.

Upon successful completion, each officer earned their EFCombatives Level 1 Instructor Certification, allowing them to bring this advanced training back to our department and help develop the next generation of officers.

Congratulations to all on this outstanding achievement!

Today, members of the Warminster Township Police Department attended the grand re-opening of Walmart Store #2096.

We are grateful to Walmart and its “Spark Good” Community Giving Program for their generous $2,500 donation to our department. The funding was secured through a grant application and will be used to upgrade our Defensive Tactics training mats, helping us provide our officers with enhanced training opportunities and equipment.

We sincerely thank Walmart for their continued commitment to supporting local communities and public safety initiatives.

As summer approaches and our roadways become busier, please remember Pennsylvania’s Move Over Law. If you encounter an emergency vehicle, tow truck, or disabled vehicle stopped roadside, move over whenever possible. If you cannot safely change lanes, slow down significantly.

Help keep first responders, tow operators, and stranded motorists safe.

Congratulations to our newest officers!

Last evening, at the Warminster Township Board of Supervisors meeting, Officer Gabriel Hernandez and Officer Anders Kjendal were officially sworn in as members of the Warminster Township Police Department.

Both officers are set to graduate from the Montgomery County Police Academy next week and will soon begin serving the residents of Warminster Township.

Please join us in welcoming Officers Hernandez and Kjendal to our department and wishing them success as they begin their law enforcement careers.
