As Philadelphia summers get hotter and energy costs go up, it can be harder for residents to keep their homes cool, comfortable and safe. But what if a roof coating could help change that?

We teamed up with Energy Coordinating Agency Philadelphia to test if a simple roof coating - known as "cool roofs" - can help cool your home and neighborhood during hot weather. The pilot takes place in Strawberry Mansion, one of the city's neighborhoods most affected by heat in the summer.
