StreetsDOT Highway crews installed a new separated bike lane on 3rd Street from South to Market. This work involves painting new traffic markings, installing flex posts, and even a little fire to adhere the preformed bike lane symbols.

In addition to the bike lane, StreetsDOT Traffic Engineering staff fabricated and installed new loading zone signs along the corridor.

Remember, help keep work zones safe by slowing down, paying extra attention, and giving crews space to do their work.
