We had a strong start to this morning with the newly elected leaders of the NEA Today .

Our President and CEO Hector Sanchez Barba had an important conversation about the issues facing Latino students, educators and families from public education and immigration to civil rights and voting rights, and how we can work together for our common causes.

Today we are just 50 days from the midterm elections, and that means it's time to make sure you have a plan:

1️⃣ Will you vote early / absentee or on election day?
2️⃣ Invite a friend, family, or co-worker to plan with you so they vote too!
3️⃣ Verify your voter registration and polling location at your county registrar's website or state's voter portal. And of course, tell your friends so you remind them to vote too!
