Last week, our President and CEO, Hector Sanchez Barba, had the honor of participating in LALIFF's Radical Storytelling: Reclaiming Mexicanidad panel alongside an inspiring group of artists, filmmakers, and advocates dedicated to elevating authentic Latino voices. 🌟

Donald Trump's power grab includes an executive order to force the U.S. Postal Service to only deliver mail ballots to people they approve through DHS. This week, the U.S. Postal Service is publishing a proposed rule that is a direct attack on the rights of Americans to vote and that will undermine mail voting ahead of the midterm election. 🗳️

After several days of protests outside ICE's Delaney Hall over inhumane conditions, family visitation was restored at the facility. The unnecessary clashes in NJ last week, though, are the result of an unaccountable ICE. That won't stop Congress from trying to sneak through another $70 billion for immigration enforcement with zero accountability. Call your member of Congress and tell them not a penny more for ICE without guardrails.

In Nevada, we met with Congressman Steven Horsford to discuss the importance of increasing civic participation in our communities, and build power across generations.
