❤️ Red Ribbon Week at Pocomoke High School!

A huge shout-out to our SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and Ms. Sharp, for putting together an amazing Red Ribbon Week! 🎉❤️

Throughout the week, students took part in educational activities about making healthy, drug-free choices, along with positive ways to relieve stress.

Thank you to Pets on Wheels for bringing their sweet, gorgeous dogs to visit, and to our wonderful media specialist, Ms. McCormack, for collaborating to make it all happen! 📚

We were also thrilled to welcome Dr. Andes, our longtime former superintendent and Board of Education member, who brought along Finn. Finn was a huge hit! 🐾💙💛

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so meaningful for our students!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Maryland’s highest rating, two years in a row! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pocomoke High School has earned a FIVE-STAR rating on the Maryland School Report Card for the second straight year — and the achievements don’t stop there:

🏆 Ranked #6 among ALL Maryland high schools by percentage of points earned
📈 Gained 5.3 percentage points over last year
💙💛Serving 68.9% of students eligible for free and reduced-price meals — more than 2.5 times the 27.3% average of the schools ranked ahead of us

Poverty does NOT have to be a deciding factor in the success of students. Congratulations to our students, teachers, staff, families, and community. We are so proud of you, Warriors!
