Once a Warrior, always a Warrior! We’re excited to continue celebrating our former Pocomoke student-athletes whose stories continue at the next level.

Aubrie Castaneda is continuing her field hockey career at McDaniel College, where she plays midfield while pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. 📚🏑

Aubrie’s next chapter is another reminder that being a Warrior doesn’t end at graduation. The lessons, friendships, determination, and memories built along the way become part of the story you carry with you.

We are proud of you, Aubrie, and can’t wait to see what this season and your future hold!

Our library was full of students this past week! Ms. McCormack, our school librarian, presented on school and local library services, as well as curated a wonderful selection of books aligned with the current theme in our English 10 unit. Stay tuned for upcoming events in partnership with the Pocomoke Library! Literacy is a community lift and we are here for it! 📖💙💛

We closed out an AMAZING week with our Warriors, choosing from 20+ clubs & organizations during our annual Club Rush. At PHS there is NO excuse not to find your thing. 🎨🎭🏀🎶📚💻🌎

Students in Ms. O’Brien’s English 10 classes picked out independent novels that align with our unit theme of the relationship between power and freedom. They completed a “book tasting” before selecting books to check out. Seeing so many students deeply engaged, reading for both purpose and pleasure was a bucket filler for sure. 📚📖💙💛

We were proud to welcome State Board of Education Member Mr. Chet Chesterfield yesterday as he joined our Board members and WCPS leadership to visit schools to welcome students and staff back!
