🎃👻 As if Red Ribbon Week, a little Halloween fun, and the time change weren’t enough to keep us on our toes, Ms. Wendy decided to add a few frightening surprises to the mix! 😂😱

Let’s just say Ms. Terri and Ms. Ashley got a little more than they bargained for! Way to keep things spooky, Ms. Wendy! 🕷️🖤🎃

Our staff enjoyed a spooktacular popcorn and soda bar as a little treat for making it through Red Ribbon Week and all the candy-filled excitement leading up to Halloween! 🎃🍿🥤

We appreciate all that our staff does and hope this fun pick-me-up made their week a little sweeter! 👻🖤❤️

To celebrate Principal Appreciation month, we asked some of our staff and students, “If Dr. Hoffman weren’t a principal, what would her job be?” Let’s just say we got some pretty interesting answers! 😂 From a goat farmer to an astronaut, the possibilities were endless!

We are SO thankful that Dr. Hoffman chose to be the principal of Champ Cooper instead! 🐐🚀 There’s no one quite like her, and we are lucky to have her leading our school family!

We love you, Dr. Hoffman! Thank you for your leadership, your dedication, and everything you do to make Champ Cooper such a special place! Happy Principal Appreciation Month to the best there is!! ❤️🖤🤍

Local author Laila Florane, who also serves as a Kindergarten ONCE paraprofessional at Champ Cooper Elementary School, donated a copy of her novel, Saints, Shadows, and Strawberries, to the school library!

Her novel is rooted in Louisiana folklore, Southern Gothic atmosphere, and the rich cultural faith traditions. Set in Ponchatoula, the story celebrates local heritage while weaving together themes of faith, love, and the supernatural. Through this donation, Mrs. Florane hopes to share her love of storytelling and Louisiana culture with the Champ Cooper community and inspire a love of reading among students.

Champ Cooper Elementary is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of its very own local author and educator!
