Access for All Smiles is a free dental health resource for family and professional caregivers supporting adults with disabilities. Developed by McMillen Health, it offers practical information about daily mouth care, behavior supports, dental visits, adaptations and positioning, nutrition and more. Families can explore short videos, written guides, interactive handouts and one- or two-hour caregiver trainings.

Clean and accessible facilities are top improvement requests captured in the 2027-2036 Parks Comprehensive Plan survey. And we agree: Parks should work for everyone.
Check out some of the priorities outlined in the plan, such as:

🚻 Renovated and new restrooms
♿ ADA-compliant benches, picnic tables, and accessible routes
🅿️ Accessible parking and paths

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and this year’s theme is "Celebrating Value and Talent." People with disabilities bring skills, creativity, and perspective that strengthen every workplace. Yet, hiring barriers and bias still shut many out. Only about 38% of people with disabilities are employed, compared to 75% of those without disabilities. This month is a chance to raise awareness, challenge bias, and promote inclusive practices that benefit everyone.
