Hey happy summer readers! Our “Unearth a Story” summer has been AWESOME, but, much like our dinosaur friends, all things must come to an end. ☹️ This Friday, August 28th, is the LAST DAY to log your reading time. We will still have beads and prizes available for pickup into September, but you must enter all of your reading time BEFORE midnight on the 28th. If you have any questions just stop in or give us a ring!

Join us on Monday July 13th from 4-6 for Family Game Night! This week's theme is ANIMALS! We'll have all kinds of games about animals available to play with! Some even live here at the library, so you can come back and play again! We'll have snacks, games and SO MUCH FUN! It's a great way for families to connect and play together! We'll see you there!

Hey friends! We're sorry to say, but our All Ages Tie Dye Party has been postponed until TOMORROW!
Same Bat time, same bat location, now, on Thursday!
As a reminder, bring anything clean and cloth-based you'd like to tie dye, and we've got the dye buckets, rubber bands, gloves, and instructions. We do have some plastic bags to bring home your wet items, but I recommend bringing some yourself too - we'll take your extras!
We'll be outside in the garden, from 1-4 - come prepared to be outside for a bit too!

From Jan. 1-31, we are joining the nationwide Read with Benny Winter Reading Challenge, sponsored by Beanstack and Steps to Literacy. Our goal: have students in grades K-8 read 3,000 minutes together this January! Log reading at https://cityofportsmouth.beanstack.com.
