June is Wound Care Awareness Month, and we remind you that early intervention can make a powerful difference in healing.

When a wound is slow to heal, waiting can increase the risk of
infection, hospitalization, or more serious complications. Identifying and treating wounds early helps support faster healing and better outcomes.

If you notice redness, swelling, drainage, or a wound that is not improving, do not wait. Call the SOMC Wound Healing Center at 740-356-8775.
