The Cooper County Emergency Management Agency has issued an Elevated to Critical Fire Weather Conditions alert for Friday (2/27/26).

🔥 Outdoor burning is HIGHLY DISCOURAGED.

With dry conditions and increased winds, fires can spread quickly and become dangerous in a matter of minutes.

Please help keep our community safe by:
• Avoiding all outdoor burning
• Securing trailer chains to prevent sparks
• Properly disposing of ci******es
• Avoiding activities that could create sparks

Let’s work together to prevent wildfires and protect our neighbors.

Please share.
