📢 Public Announcement for DMV Vehicle Title Transactions

To better serve our customers and allow adequate time to complete paperwork, all vehicle title transactions must be submitted before 4:30 P.M.

Effective immediately, the DMV will no longer process title transactions after 4:30 P.M.

We encourage customers needing title services to arrive well before the 4:30 P.M. cutoff to ensure there is enough time to complete their transaction.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to provide efficient service to everyone.

The DEQ regulations prohibit burial of whole tires. Recently we have been seeing mass amounts of whole tires being disposed of in the cardboard bins around the county. This is prohibited. All tires can be brought to the landfill. There is no cost of tire disposal at this time, we just need a count of how many tires are being brought to the landfill. We just ask that the public respect the use of the cardboard and recycle dumpsters we have throughout the community and to please only use them for their intended use.

Notice for Franklin County Residents in Rural, Foothills, and Mountain Areas

Due to current drought conditions, minimal rainfall in the forecast, and rising temperatures, Rocky Mountain Power has implemented its Enhanced Safety Settings in select service areas to help reduce the risk of wildfires.

These safety measures may result in more frequent and longer power outages in affected areas. Residents who are impacted should have already received a notification from Rocky Mountain Power.

Please take time now to prepare for the possibility of extended power outages and potential wildfire activity. Have emergency supplies ready, charge essential devices, and stay informed of changing conditions.

Thank you for helping keep our communities safe.
