Since taking office, my administration has made it a priority to invest in initiatives that prepare our City for the realities of climate change. That's why today's signing of the City's first-ever Green Revolving Fund is such an important milestone for Providence.

Through this fund, we will be able to advance key energy improvement projects that not only help the City operate more efficiently but also will save taxpayer dollars.

This week, we're proud to celebrate our Department of Public Works as part of National Public Works Week. Our DPW team is on the front lines every day, keeping the city running smoothly, from filing potholes to clearing snow, managing trash collections and so much more. Their work keeps Providence running smoothly and we thank them for their dedication to keeping our city clean, safe and working for everyone.
