Last night we had the pleasure of attending Federal Hill House Association Food Pantry & Community Hub’s inspiring event – Cultivate: From Ingredients to Opportunity. We heard their visions for the future, including bridging broader community support through our pantry operations. To top off a great night – we enjoyed a tasting menu prepared by talented local chefs and made from commonly available pantry ingredients!

This week we had the pleasure of attending the FIMCON (Food is Medicine Conference) in Washington, DC! This event was 2 full days of incredible programming, breakout sessions and networking opportunities.

MOWRI had the opportunity to discuss innovative action plans to integrate FIM approaches at the stave level to further drive federal implementation. We're bringing back a wealth of knowledge & new inspiration to our Food Is Medicine work in Rhode Island!
