Last week, Bob Black, a force development manager at AFOSI headquarters, coached the Air Force Womenโ€™s flag football team to a 13-8 victory over Army, securing the inaugural championship by Armed Forces Sports.

The Men's team also won by defeating Army 37-32 in their tournament.

For Black, the title capped the tournament off and marked a milestone for a sport he has spent decades playing, coaching and championing.

A federal jury convicted former Air Force captain of attempting to entice a person he believed was a 14-year-old girl and attempting to send obscene materials to a minor.

The conviction followed an AFOSI-led investigation with support from local law enforcement. He faces at least 10 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for December.
