Over the past year, AFOSI Reg. 6 has expanded engagement with international counterparts across the Indo-Pacific.

These efforts have included engagements in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the Philippines, as well as supporting multinational exercises across the region.

Lt. Gen. Max Pearson, deputy chief of staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Cyber Effects Operations, stopped by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations headquarters in Quantico, Virginia, June 8.

During his visit, Brig. Gen. Amy Bumgarner, AFOSI's commander, provided mission updates alongside other top agency leaders, and discussed the command’s counterintelligence, cyber, resourcing and operational priorities and how AFOSI supports the Department of the Air Force and national security.

AFOSI welcomed Lt. Gen. David Tabor, Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, June 2, to the Russell-Knox Building for a senior leader engagement with Brig. Gen. Amy Bumgarner and the AFOSI command team.

Join us in congratulating AFOSI’s newest graduates of the Basic Special Investigators Course! The latest class of newly minted Special Agents graduated May 22, during a ceremony at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Glynco, Georgia.

Brig. Gen. Amy Bumgarner, AFOSI's commander, presented graduates with their badges and credentials, marking a major milestone in their journey to serve as investigative professionals.

Join us in congratulating Lt. Col. Adanto D’Amore on receiving the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement while serving as Deputy Commander, Office of Special Investigations, 24th Expeditionary Field Investigations Squadron, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

According to the citation, D’Amore led 158 personnel across 11 units in a 21-nation area of responsibility. The citation also highlights his leadership while protecting personnel and sustaining counterintelligence support under extreme threat.

Congratulations, Lt. Col. D’Amore, on this well-earned honor!
