Last night, the Marine Corps honored four extraordinary Marines whose legacies exemplify excellence, resilience, and selfless service during the Marine Corps Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

Established in 2001, the Marine Corps Sports Hall of Fame recognizes Marines whose exceptional athletic achievements are matched by honorable service to our Corps. This year's inductees, Cpl. Leon Spinks, PFC Angela Madsen, Cpl. Harry Agganis, and Capt. Charley Paddock, represent the enduring connection between athletic excellence and the Marine Corps values of honor, courage, and commitment.

Their accomplishments remind us that the qualities forged through competition, discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and resilience, are the same qualities that define Marines. Though each followed a different path, their legacies continue to inspire generations of Marines to pursue excellence in service to something greater than themselves.

Congratulations to the families and loved ones of tonight's inductees. Their stories will remain a lasting part of our Corps' proud heritage.
